James Landers is the founder and Managing Partner of the largest and most successful real estate development company in central Florida. Over the span of his career, Mr. Landers has gained skills in areas such as capital acquisition, investor relations, and team leadership. He is also adept at conducting feasibility studies, benchmarking, and developing marketing and sales strategies. James Landers' firm has completed over 35 major residential and commercial projects stretching from Key West to Tampa, with a combined valuation of more than a quarter of a billion dollars. James Landers has been responsible for the development of large-scale, planned residential projects with a focus on urban infill communities. They include such well-known names as Toscana, The Seybold, Legacy Park, City Lofts South, and Escena South Tampa. The Seybold, Mr. Landers' signature project, encompassed the renovation of an historic structure into upscale condominiums, single-family homes, townhomes, and a mid-rise residential building, all recognized for their adherence to the clean, yet compelling architectural styles. This complex development, coupled with the completion of numerous award-winning infill projects, helped to establish Mr. Landers' firm for its expertise in the planning and development of complex urban infill projects, whose designs include a wide variety of housing, including luxury single-family homes, upscale condominiums and townhomes. James Landers' lifelong journey of growth and self-discovery has perhaps been the driver of his business career and personal approach to life. Asked about the secret of his passion for real estate and business development, Mr. Landers' has said, "I want to create differences that matter." Mr. Landers and his wife live in Saint Petersburg, Florida, with their three children. They are all heavily involved in philanthropic work. Since 2001, the Landers family has given considerably to charities with a focus on the Youth Sports Foundation, which was created by James Landers to support the needs to disadvantaged youths. He is passionate about equality of opportunity and individual liberty issues. When not working or coaching youth sports, he enjoys reading and traveling.
